High Judicial Council Opens Training on Electronic Transactions Law No. (15) Of 2017

Dec 22, 2017 – High Judicial Council started two-day training on Electronic Transactions Law No. (15) Of 2017 within the frame of Palestinian Market Development Program and in partnership with Ministry of Telecommunication & Information Technology, funded by European Union and Department of International Development- UK.

Representing Chief Justice, the Assistant Secretary General Assad Shunnar opened the training and thanked all attendees and partners who support and fund the training, and then he provided an introduction on Electronic Transactions Law indicating the importance of these training specially in the implementations of the law and exploring ways to overcome challenges and obstacles may confront the execution of law provisions. Judge Shunnar also assured HJC policy in finding methods to accomplish a comprehensive legal system that creates favorable investment environment in Palestine and cope with international developments. It is worth noting that Judge Shunnar and judge Islam Al-Hossieni were tasked to prepare the training program for judges in cooperation with the trainer and the organizers.

For his part, the Palestinian Expert Dr. Yousef Shandi conducted a detailed presentation on Electronic Transactions Law; comparing the electronic contract with traditional paper contracts.
