Chief Justice Meets the President –Elect of International Association of Women Judges

Chief Justice Chancellor Emad Saleem Saad met with Chair, Board of Managerial Trustees and President –Elect of International Association of Women Judges Hon. Vanessa Ruiz.

H.E. welcomed Judge Ruiz and expressed his deep appreciation for her visit; affirming High Judicial Council willingness to start prospects of cooperation and to exchange expertise.

For her part, Judge Ruiz passed an invitation for Palestinian judges to be members at International Association of Women Judges and discussed a proposal to establish a national association for women judges to create coordination and cooperation between Palestinian judges and their colleagues from all around the world.

Chief justice indicated that the Association of Palestinian Judges Club Judge is the legal body which represents Palestinian judges and it plays a significant role in supporting and following up all needs and judges'' affairs.

Both parties assured their full readiness to cooperate; knowing that the women judges accompanied Hon. Ruiz in a tour at Ramallah First Instance Court.
