On April 6, 2016 – High Judicial Council hold a workshop on "Forensic Medicine Reports" targeted Magistrates and First Instance judges at Grand Park Hotel funded by UNODC.
Secretary General of HJC Judge Raed Assaf opened the workshop with participation from Deputy of Cassation Court in Jordan Dr. Mohamad Tarawneh.
Judge Assaf praised Jordanian Judiciary for their efforts in providing knowledge and experience to Palestinian Judiciary especially the Jordanian Cassation Court, wishing them to accomplish a quantum leap in judges' work to meet HJC policy.
For his part, Judge Tarawneh expressed his profound appreciation for Palestinian judges and indicated that Palestinian Judiciary managed to achieve manifest impact despite of all challenges and obstacles such as occupation and lack of resources and number of judges.
It is worth noting that was held for two days, the first day theme was on "criminal laboratory in Palestine" delivered by Director of the Palestinian Forensic Science Laboratory Lieutenant Najeh Samarah; the second day theme was on "judiciary jurisprudence" delivered by Judge Tarawneh.
